Orders will be taken at Baldwin Assembly of God, 1/4 mile South of Houseman's on M37, December 2nd 12-1pm & 4-6pm and November 9th 4:30-5:30pm.

New this month orders will also be taken at Baldwin Business Center December 9th 12-1pm.

Online ordering is also available for those who wish to pay with a debit or credit card. The deadline for online orders is December 10th at 11:59am.

The December Online Coupon Codes are now available. The coupon code "DECSIG5" is good for 5% off a "Signature Box" of Angel Food. The other online coupon code "CHRISTMAS5" is good for 5% off a "Senior/Convenience Box". Both Online Coupon Codes expire on December 31st, 2009 and are good for the first 2000 users.

Prayer Requests

Here are the prayer requests we have received recently:

• Pray for all our service men to come home safely.
• Pray for a rough home life with daughter – balancing daughter’s issues with her own relationship with her husband.
• Pray for world peace.
• Pray that the wars overseas will soon be over and bring our service people home and back with their families.
• Pray for Johnny Coleman who has esophageal cancer.
• Pray for health for family and Pastor Dobson and wife.
• Pray for health for family and friends.
• Pray for Sheila. She’s in the hospital fighting for her life and needs the Lord in her life.

September Ordering Period Extended

 

In an e-mail I received this morning from Angel Food Ministries, I learned that the September order period has been extended to Friday, September 18th at noon for online orders. The coupons available for the September online ordering are “SEPTSIG5” for 5% off each Signature Box ordered and “10FALLSP1” for 10% off September Special #1. If you still want to order and need to pay with cash or Food Stamps please contact Lisa Peck at 231-898-3245 or Jan Timmer at 231-745-2295 so we can make arrangements to meet with you.

The Thanksgiving Holiday Box is available for pre-order September 1st – October 28th. This year we have an exciting menu that we think your friends and family will enjoy and will make a nice gift for anyone that you believe needs a little uplifting around the holidays. This will not affect the normal November order period.

Online ordering is also available for those who wish to pay with a debit or credit card. The deadline for online orders is July 8th at 11:59pm.

New this month: The Angel Food Management team has decided to drop the ordering requirements. Simply put, you no longer need to buy a Signature Box, Allergen Free or Senior Meal box to qualify for the produce, Grill and Meat boxes, or whatever else the specials may be. GOOD NEWS!

There has been a change in the Angel Food Ordering Requirements. You no longer have to purchase the Signature, Senior, or Allergen-Free Box in order to buy one or more of the monthly Specials!

For Example: You can order just Special #1, Special #2 & 4, or even one of everything.

June Prayer Requests

Here are the prayer requests we received in the last month:

• Pray for my mother, Iris Silvis, who is recovering from a hip replacement and cancer of the lung which is right now in remission.
• Pray for the mending of a mother/daughter relationship.
• Pray for Marge TenBrink who is very sick and for the Doctors to find out what is wrong with her.
• Pray for Pat Porter.
• Pray for the AA Groups in Baldwin.
• Pray for family.
• Pray for healing in family relationships.
• Pray for Lee Jackson’s health.

Online Ordering is Now Available!!!

If you’ve considered ordering Angel Food but found it hard to have cash on hand to pay or you would prefer to pay with a debit or credit card, now you can.  Follow the “Order Online!” link on the right to BAFM information on the Angel Food Ministries Site. If you scroll down you will find the ordering information for the current month and a button to order online. There is a $1 Convenience fee added to your order when you pay with a debit or credit card.

We are very excited to be able to offer you this service.  Keep checking back to see how we are growing!

Volunteer Meeting

Are you are interested in finding out how YOU can become an important part of Baldwin Angel Food Ministries? Come find out April 19th 3pm at Baldwin Assembly of God.

We need volunteers with many different talents.

• Do you talk to people easily? – You could be a greeter!
• Do you wake up early on Saturdays? – You could help pick up the food on distribution day!
• Are you strong and able to carry boxes? – You can help carry orders to cars for those who need help!
• Do you like to laugh a lot? - You can be part of a group who gets together to show God’s love and while offering a “Hand Up” to those in need!

There are no membership requirements to help. All who are able will be welcomed and placed in a job to suit their talents.

I look forward to meeting you all!
